    2nd grade

I am a small-town farm girl. I grew up on a small family farm in Northern California. I graduated from California State University Fresno, with a degree in Community Health Education. I then went back to school to earn my teaching credential from National University and my Masters in Instructional Leadership from CU Denver. I have been in the educational field for 30 years.

My husband's job moved us to Colorado in 2002 and I began teaching for BVSD in 2003 as an English as a Second Language Specialist. My boys were raised in BVSD schools and graduated from Monarch High School in 2014 and 2016. Our family loves to travel, ski, hike, and watch movies.

My favorite grade to teach is 2nd grade. Students are curious and eager to learn. I started teaching at Creekside Elementary for the 18-19 school year.  I'm so excited to start another year at this amazing school.
