Dear Creekside Families,

We had another successful Spaghetti Dinner this year! The fifth graders worked so hard serving up the delicious food prepared by BVSD Food Services, under the direction of fourth and second grade parent, Stephen Menyhart. A HUGE thank you to all of the fifth grade parents that made this year such a success!

Music and art rulled this week at Creekside as we were treated to the Kindergarten and First grade art and music programs. Here is a great picture from the Kindergarten show. More pictures in the blog next week!

Congratulations to our fourth and fifth graders for their participation in Math Olympiads and the district math tournament. Here is the list of students that gave up recess and lunch for several practice sessions.  Pictured below are the two teams that represented Creekside at the district event. We are so proud of our wonderful mathematicians!

Have a nice weekend!

Warm regards,

It's that time of year again where our lost and found is overflowing!  Please check the lost and found for your student's coats, boots, gloves, hats, mittens, etc.  We have a ton of great coats out there!  All items will be donated to charity at 2:45 on May 23, 2019 (the last day of school)

As a class project, our 4th Grade is selling Dog Biscuits to benefit the Boulder Humane Shelter.  This Fundraiser will take place next Thursday, May 9, 2019.  The cost is $1.00 for 2 small biscuits and $2.00 for 2 large biscuits.  Please watch the video below for more information!

It's time to Update Your ADU
Please make sure to update your Annual Data Update on your parent portal for the 19-20 school year.  This needs to be done sooner than later... you don't want to miss any information coming out over the summer (ie: your student's teacher for next year).  If you have any questions, please contact Amber Godard at 720-561-3838.

Impact on Education
As you know we receive money each year to help students in need from Impact on Education.  This year, they have pictures and descriptions of their auction items on line, so if you cannot make it to the dinner, you can still bid on items that may interest you!  Please follow THIS LINK to see the many wonderful items they have on the auction.

FRS Updates

1.       Farmers Market food bucks: If you are enrolled in the SNAP or WIC programs, you can use your EBT card to purchase SNAP-eligible foods anywhere in the market. You’ll receive double-up bucks: for every dollar you withdraw from your SNAP account, you’ll receive $2, up to $40 total. So if you withdraw $20 worth of SNAP dollars, you’ll get an extra $20. You can also use WIC bucks to purchase fruits, vegetables, meat, eggs, and cheese. Learn more at or call 303.441.1564.

2.       Do you need legal assistance to resolve issues with Medicaid, SNAP, or marketplace healthcare? If so, there is new program in Boulder that is providing free legal representation. Contact the Bridge to Justice/Healthcare and Food Assistance Project at 303-443-1038 x104. Se habla español.

3.       An all-school FRS survey will be sent out soon. This survey helps us gather feedback on areas of success and areas for improvement. Please watch your email for the link, and look for the link in next week’s blog post as well.

Thank you!
