This Week In the Blog:
1. Farmers Market food bucks: If you are enrolled in the SNAP or WIC programs, you can use your EBT card to purchase SNAP-eligible foods anywhere in the market. You’ll receive double-up bucks: for every dollar you withdraw from your SNAP account, you’ll receive $2, up to $40 total. So if you withdraw $20 worth of SNAP dollars, you’ll get an extra $20. You can also use WIC bucks to purchase fruits, vegetables, meat, eggs, and cheese. Learn more at BoulderCountyDoubleUp.org or call 303.441.1564.
2. Do you need legal assistance to resolve issues with Medicaid, SNAP, or marketplace healthcare? If so, there is new program in Boulder that is providing free legal representation. Contact the Bridge to Justice/Healthcare and Food Assistance Project at 303-443-1038 x104. Se habla español.
3. An all-school FRS survey will be sent out soon. This survey helps us gather feedback on areas of success and areas for improvement. Please watch your email for the link, and look for the link in next week’s blog post as well.
