Great News!
Flatirons Subaru, our local Subaru retailer, selected our school for this year's Subaru Loves Learning partnership. Our school received a credit through their nonprofit partner, AdoptAClassroom.org so our teachers can purchase the classroom supplies our students need to learn and thrive. We're so proud to be one of over 600 schools nationwide selected by local Subaru retailers. Through Subaru Loves Learning, they have put supplies in the hands of more than 300,000 students across the country. We look forward to deepening our partnership with Flatirons Subaru in the weeks and years to come.

The recent, frightening false reports of active shooters at schools across Colorado, including here in Boulder Valley, once again tested the systems school districts use to protect students and staff and to communicate threats with school communities. With this in mind, it is a good opportunity to review: How BVSD responds to emergencies, what families should do during an emergency, types of communication you can expect during a crisis, and who gets emergency messages.
