I grew up in New Mexico but have been in Colorado since 1988. I've been teaching in the district since 1997, and have been here at Creekside since 2006. I was first a special education and literacy teacher, and now teach only literacy, doing Reading Recovery and Leveled Literacy Intervention. I love working with children and seeing them as the amazing individuals they are, building from their strengths and supporting them in feeling safe and confident when learning to read and write. I have a daughter and a son, two very fat cats, a wonderful husband, and I love to read, hike, ski, and spend time with family and friends.</p>
