The Preschool at Creekside Elementary is an inclusive, play-based program, where children explore their world using all five senses, have plenty of opportunity to experiment, and to try out their ideas in a safe environment. We use the Creative Curriculum, a research-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum that serves as the foundation for planning our learning experiences both in and outside of the classroom. Our experienced teachers are certified with endorsements in Early Childhood Education. The preschool also has the support of a para-professional, speech-language pathologist, occupational therapist, psychologist and a community liaison.
The Preschool runs Tuesday-Friday for two half-day sessions (7:55am-10:40am & 11:55am-2:40pm). Songs, games, poems, finger-plays, choice-centers activities, books, and stories are all integral parts of our classrooms. We connect to the community through programs sponsored by groups such as the Boulder Public Library, Growing Gardens, and Ecocycle, and our year is highlighted by monthly events and celebrations.
We would love to tell you more about our program! Please don’t hesitate to contact our Preschool Community Liaison, Tangi Lancaster, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 720-561-3815with any questions that you may have or to schedule a tour!
