What does the FRS (Family Resource Schools) program offer?

 Basic Needs Assistance   

Financial assistance, referrals to Medicaid, SNAP, and other community resources, clothing vouchers, dental screenings, and more.

Counseling services for students  

We provide counseling for students or their parents with our licensed therapist, at no cost to families. Teachers and/or parents can make a referral by completing this form and submitting it to the FRS coordinator.

After-School Classes: Fall 2024 Registration Opens soon!

The Family Resource School Program will now run the entire after-school program, in place of Lifelong Learning's program. We offer three sessions per year (September-November, January-March, April-May) and classes include a variety of art, STEM, and fitness classes. Classes will include snack, and bus transportation is available at no extra cost. 

Class dates for the 2024-25 school year are: 

Fall: M, T, W 9/23-11/20                                                                                                                                                                                                  Winter: M, T, W 1/27-3/19                                                                                                                                                                                                Spring: M, T, W 3/31-5/14

Green registration packets will go home in Friday folders by the end of August.

Parent Engagement Events Classes

We host events throughout the year to promote parent engagement at school, such as family cooking nights and internet safety classes. Flyers go home in Friday folders. We are also working with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committee run by parents at the school and will be co-hosting events with them throughout the school year.
